Nantucket Race Week

2020 Nantucket Race Week is August 8 - 16 and is a full nine days of regattas, award ceremonies, community events, and parties. The most popular event of the festival is the NCS's 47th Annual Opera House Cup Regatta for wooden boats, which takes place August 16 at 10:45 a.m.

Events during Nantucket Race Week take place in the Nantucket Sound, Nantucket Harbor, Polpis Harbor, Nantucket Yacht Club, and more.

August 8

12:30 pm: Day One of the One Design Regatta for Rainbows, Marshall 15's, Marshall 18's, Rhodes 19's, Indians, Alerions, and 12 ½'s in Nantucket Harbor

4 pm: One Design Regatta Daily Awards ceremony

11 am: Hobie 16 Regatta – in Nantucket Sound
